The Key to a Better Year Starts with Reflection
As the year comes to a close and Christmas lights start twinkling, it’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of the holiday season. Between shopping for gifts, attending...

Real reminders that you’ve got this.
Some days, self-doubt doesn’t go away. You show up, do the work, and still feel stuck in your head. Overthinking, second-guessing, wondering if you’re actually cut out for this. That’s part of it.
Selfhoot exists for the creators, entrepreneurs, and builders working on something of their own. The ones figuring it out as they go, trying to make it work, and not fully sure how it all plays out yet. This isn’t about forcing positivity or pretending everything is figured out. It’s about staying grounded in the middle of it. Learning as you go. Showing up anyway.
Every design is meant to reflect that reality. Not perfect. Not finished. Just building. Because mindset isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about how you keep going when you don’t.
To transform self-doubt from a stopping point into part of the process—one reminder at a time. We believe the overthinking, uncertainty, and pressure aren’t signs you’re failing, but part of building something meaningful and working toward a life with more freedom.

Hey, I'm Aaron Hokanson, the creator of Selfhoot. I’m building this brand while figuring things out in real time, dealing with the same self-doubt, overthinking, and pressure to make something work.
Selfhoot started as a way to stay grounded through all of it. Not by forcing positivity, but by being honest about the process and choosing to keep going anyway. Because mindset isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about how you show up when you don’t.
That’s why I create designs that reflect what this actually feels like. Not perfect. Not finished. Just building. Selfhoot is for people in that same phase. The ones working toward something bigger, even if it’s not fully clear yet.
